Windy City Ice 2013-2014 Tryouts
If you are looking for an organization for your daughter to play competitive softball and to better develop her skills the Windy City Ice Fastpitch is for your daughter.
We will have winter workouts and clinics for all our teams and coaches.
Tryouts will be held on:
August 3rd
10U, 12U and 14U
9 AM to 12 AM
August 6th & 8th
10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, & 18U
6 PM to 9 PM
August 10th
10U, 12U, & 14U
1 PM to 4 PM
16U, & 18U
9 AM to 12 PM
All tryouts will be held at Commissioners Park
12600 Kedzie Ave.,
Alsip, IL 60803
Please come 30 minutes before your tryout time to fill out paper work and for your daughter to stretch and warm-up. Please bring your own glove, helmet, and bat, if you have one.
16u and 18u will be going to Top College Exposure Tournaments.
Windy City Ice Fastpitch will provide a winter training program for the entire organization.
All teams and coaches will work with an Ice instructor throughout the winter sessions. This training will include: Player Development - speed & agility, strength & conditioning, throwing, fielding, hitting/bunting, Base running & sliding, positional play, and mental toughness.
Coaching Development - enhancing coaching skills, advanced offense & defensive drills, how to setup bunt coverage, how to defend the slap and how to run effective practices
