What's "plus" about the new LS bats?

Just saw that the new LS bats are renamed with a "plus" at the end. It's no longer a Xeno but a Xeno Plus. Same for the LXT.

DD is convinced her brand new 2015 Xeno is now hopelessly out of date technology!

Hoping Core or someone else can let us know if there really is a "plus" in these new bats or is it just a marketing technique by LS that is obviously working on my DD?

Plus just involves the layering system of the composite. They have made + models in
a few SP bats as well.

Btw, no bat tech is out of date after a year, new things may come out but it doesnt make
the last year some stone age technology...haha

They are all limited for top-end performance by the governing bodies. No bat may exceed the standards at production.

That doesn't mean that some get closer to that limitation than others or that some may exceed it after a break-in period, however. By our measured results, a manufacturer would have a very tough time exceeding the performance of the 2015 Xeno and LXT. Nothing else we have found to date can do that except a couple of pre-98 mph bats that are well broken-in. Even those are very, very close.
