DD is first year 12U. Got her a Nokona WB-1200 12" glove. She pitches, 1B and 3B. Solid glove. Took a while to get used to weight of the glove but she loves it now. But she still carries her old Mizuno 12.5" pancake glove in her bag! LOL

I 2nd the Shigeaki Aso breaking in Brandon Phillips' glove.

12U DD currently uses a ten year old hand-me-down Rawlings Gold Glove, 11.75" I-web, plays 2nd, SS and OF when not catching.

We've tried on dozens of gloves over the last month and have determined the 12" Mizuno baseball basket web pitcher's pattern feels best. Looking to get either the Global Elite VOP or older Classic.

15 yo DD has used a 12.5" Nakona buckaroo black glove for a couple of years and finds it great for OF play, but wanted a smaller profile with better feel for INF positions. She recently chose a Shoeless Jane 11.75 and is very happy with it.

My daughter is a P/OF in 14-U and prefers her $59.99 12.5 Easton over the $129.99 12" Insignia (a very good glove) that I bought for her. The Easton is very comfortable and she handles it well, so we'll continue to use that until it rags out. The Insignia is like a Nokona in that it takes a while to get it comfortably broken in. I agree with the earlier post about not getting a glove larger than 12.5. I spoke to a major college head coach whose infielders play with gloves 12 inches or smaller. And there is a difference between softball gloves and baseball gloves, don't let a novice pick out your daughter's glove!

My 5'5" 11.5 YO DD mostly plays P and 3B. She has a new 12" Nokona Buckaroo for P but prefers her old 12" >$100 Mizuno for 3B. The Mizuno is well broken and not yet too floppy.

Our DDs are wearing some very nice gloves! I am glad to see the Nokonas being used and the Vincis. I find that the inside wears out the quickest, where our palm meets the glove. I always wear a batting glove or stick a thin sponge in there, now - to absorb the dirt and sweat. My DD ruined her good SSK, before I knew about keeping it clean.
