I know its a little late. But what I would like to see is a clear slow motion video of an accomplished pitcher throwing a fastball, peeldrop, change, rise, ect... from the side. I have heard some of the experts debate about release points for different pitches. I would like to see video proof so I can make up my mind. From my limited expierence I tend to think that the ball should be released from the same point with no major change in body mechanics for each pitch. I would love some video clips to make up my mind though, please.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
IMO the camera should focus on the release point area for each pitch. Maybe three frames, just before, during, and just after release. If this already exists please point me in the right direction.
