We founded the Virginia Women’s Fast-Pitch Softball Club to provide women with the opportunity to continue playing the game at a challenging and physically demanding level that otherwise doesn’t exist in the Hampton Roads area. (Slow-pitch might be good enough for the boys, but women deserve to play fast-pitch!) With your support and participation both on the field and off, we aim to become a recognizable and influential voice for women’s causes, as well as a pillar of our athletic community.
We welcome adult women fast-pitch softball players of all experience levels to play in this friendly competitive club. If you haven’t played in a while, don’t worry—it’s time to come out of retirement! Prospective players will be able to register as a team, with a few friends, or individually.
Our 10-week season will start this June in the centrally located Norfolk area. We are currently finalizing game fields and the schedule: expect specific dates and locations soon. In the meantime, keep an eye out for our updates and email us with any specific questions.
