Superglue on raw finger tip

Superglue on a raw finger tip or hangnail works great. However it is a foreign substance. I try to follow all rules to the letter, but does anyone else do this and hope their not caught. Would any of the umpires toss a pitcher for trying to relieve excess pain.

Its not being put on the ball, but still technically illegal being the pitcher is not suppose to have anything on the fingers that comes into contact with the ball. I know pitchers that do it, even had a girl on my daughters club team that put antiperspirant on her palm to keep her hand from sweating. Unless brought to the attention of the umpire no one is ever going to know.

The point is to apply it before it opens... Super glue is technically illegal. The legal version is called new skin
