Coming up next week. Wondered if anybody's DD had played in that showcase before, what you think of it and Chattanooga. Looks like some pretty good teams attend every year.

Great showcase and the facilities are awesome. Always a good turnout of college coaches. Highly recommended and right up there with Atlanta Legacy.

We won the 14U open last year (not the 14U Super). We had games at 5 different parks, so it was a lot of driving. For winning it, the girls got a Connect3 generic t-shirt and a plaque. :(

This year we are in the 16U Super and only play at the Summit. Thank goodness. Big tournament. Lot's of teams, very good ones in the Super pools. Big $$$ spent. Hopefully better exposure this year in 16 vs 12/14U.

Thanks, guys. Good report. DD's team is playing in one of the super pools, so it should be a real challenge. She's played in major showcases before (ie, Atlanta Legacy), but this will be the first time she's been in one of the top pools. Hoping for the best, but preparing for struggle if necessary. :) Glad to hear the facility is nice. Been to Chattanooga a few times, but never for softball.

Chattanooga is one of the best places to play. Plenty to do to get away from the park for a little bit. The Summitt is a great facility and Warner isn't bad at all. Best part of Warner is you can be downtown in just a few minutes to grab food and chill out if you have a long break.

It was the first Showcase my DDs played in several years ago. There were some good teams and we got lucky with our hotel. We ended up playing at several different locations but I thought all the fields were nice.

If you're coming to Chattanooga this weekend for the Scenic City I suggest you at least double the amount of bottled water you bring, as well as deodorant:). Supposed to be to upper 90's and sunny Friday, Saturday and Sunday with humidity in mid to upper 40%. Chattanooga can get a little swampy feeling as it sits down in a bowl, not a lot of air movement.
