My daughter's hitting coach has a star pupil (it's not her).

When scouts ask him about the drills and other things that he does to train to hit, he says that he "just hits." Pitched balls, he doesn't think about launch angles, etc., he just hits and hits and hits.

Sure tools will help; reps and keeping things simple help as well.

You can never judge a hitting instructor by his/her top student or even top 10%.

DD has 8-9 years of “keep it simple” behind her. Has hit around 3-400 front tossed balls per week, most weeks, for years. Has never really had a hitting instructor, I did pay a men’s fastpitch player to throw to her. There are several local instructors that I’m sure would like to be able to claim her.

Apparently the quant tee guy is selling a lot of these to pro hitters to use at home and these already “good” hitters are making measurable improvements.

Got rollers on it. Thats badass. Use to have tire hanging from the tree for my son years ago. Don't have a good tree at new house.

Base is about 100lbs it comes apart and adjusts height . Each and every time we post a video of it we get asked where to make one .. my friend is not interested but he did make one for another friend
