From my experience most championship games are 7 innings. We have been in very few with time limits. Honestly, when we played 18u, 90 minutes was sometimes enough to play 7 innings anyway.

Most of the ones we played this fall have been 90 min finish the inning. We played one showcase tourney that was 7 innings for every game. That was awesome. Had one game go 8 in ITB. This is in Texas.

I would say about 75% of our championship games still have a time limit. That time limit is usually 90 minutes.

The other 25% are 7 inning championship games.

Most that we've been in have been timed. Was at a tourney that was 7 inning games all day so championship was 7 as well.
I know PGF that has DE, the IF game is a 1 inning shoot-out :/

To be honest, I have never been a fan of time limits. I understand why tournament directors use them. I just wish there was a better way. Honestly, I would rather enter a tournament with a fixed inning rule instead of time limits. Play 5 inning games, or even 4 inning games at the younger ages instead of using time limits. Just my .02...
