here we go again. You pass a red light, you don't get a ticket. you didn't break any traffic laws?
until the NCAA changes their rules to specifically allow replanting, it is ILLEGAL whether or not the umpires call it.
Again this is a poor analogy. The closest you could get is if while you were passing the red light a police officer, a local judge, and members of your local legislation were all giving you the thumbs up and giving you driver of the year awards for running the red light.
In addition there is a person on an internet forum screaming that running red lights is illegal. All of the parties involved (police, judge, and members of the local legislation) shrug their shoulders and actually lesson the offense for running a red light to a simple verbal warning.
