Yep, I'd agree.......Change will be turning earlier........Curve could be also depending the WHAT curve is being thrown. Peel would be turning a bit earlier as well to get the laces squared.......Drop curve or roll drop over may weight longer on the turn over for better I/R over spin........And Rise would of course be palm up........

Just my opinion if anybody cares- The palm facing 3rd base at 3:00 is a neutral position that facilitates the spins for all of the pitches. If you are already under the ball at 3:00 on the rise ball, it reduces some of the rotational potential.

Many, very good PC's and pitchers would say facing 3B @ 9 o'clock is acceptable.

I know that, but that's not what I mean.

Why is he referring to 3:00. To me, 3:00 is when the ball arm is pointed toward the catcher in the up-swing part of the arm circle, yet he seems to be talking about, what I think of as the, 9:00 position.
