Just make sure you practice some sliding with them first.
This!^^^^^ DD had no trouble sliding in them, but the one time she left them on all the way home, she lost the battle with gravity and the chest freezer in the garage. Luckily, it was just a head bump.....and slow down before hitting the concrete ;-)
When I played baseball in high school, there was some concrete way out in center field on one of the fields we played at. The concrete measured 460' from home plate. The local ground rules were that anything that hit the concrete was a ground rule double. A double, at 460'? Crazy!....and slow down before hitting the concrete ;-)
