Have always wondered why there is such a focus on the stars of baseball rather than the stars of softball.

Other than the difference in strength and bone mass, the female has a lower center of gravity; flatter and broader pelvis; greater spine curvature due to tipped pelvis; shorter long bones and increased Q angle.

Do we need to further analyze how this may or should have an effect what we are teaching?

This is hip shoulder separation, bat behind the body hips fully turned and then upper unwinds. It does snap fast the bat. Is this high level? Something you see in high level MLB hitters? I’ve seen it before.

Is she making an adjustment or is she not ttb rearward soon enough? Waits until later?

I can see why. Her hand and the bat get stuck behind but she manages to get them back out in front. Not an ideal swing, IMO.

The core/torso/middle. The hand/wrist release/launch the barrel and make adjustments. The hand go last.
