There is a chance Softball may get back in the 2020 olympics.

More so than softball, I am glad to see wrestling back on the list. That was the dumbest thing they ever did to remove an original Olympic sport. But hey...as long as they keep the ribbon gymnastics on the list and all equestrian events (I use the word events because these are not sports)...oh and anything with the word "synchronized," then all is good. Right?

I think the whole thing was political, wrestling will get back in and baseball/softball will stay out. I think the writing was on the wall as soon as they announced wrestling was out exactly what was going to happen.

I think they only pulled wrestling so they could put it back in and not have to make any real decisions. In the meantime, they've made millions off the lobby efforts of other sports and lined their pockets quite well.

Agreed and I said it in the thread when the news first broke.

the only reason wrestling was dropped was so that it could be acepted back in and softball/baseball will be left out agian.
