What are some of the questions you ask when interviewing for an assistant coaches? Just trying to get different ideas/possibilities.

I dont know if you really want to ask to many questions, you should really consider watching them and seeing how they interact and how the girls react with that person. But if you do some of these questions are good ones.....

How long have they been around the game?
Do they know more about baseball or softball? (Need to watch cause they are different)
What certifications do they hold? (CPR, First aid, etc... )
Have they ever coached before? If so what age group?

Thats all I really ask but I hope that helps!!!

Before interviewing, find out what you need in a coach or coaches. Also determine what kind of person you are and be honest.

If you are the type that can trust others you want one with ideas and drive. If you are a control freak you need one that will listen
and obey what you say.

If it's a current player I would ask what they think you need to work on.
