Thanks Steve for all the information. She plays for a good A program and we were approached by a coach from one of the top Div III schools that said that they really liked what they saw when she did a week long camp there- she had seen her in a tournament also. They had her doing the drills with the oldest group and the girls thought she was 17 or 18. The coach pointed out also that at her age, the girls start dropping out of the sport because of boys etc... Time to get the shotgun out! We are trying to be realistic though, there's a lot of competition out there, and academics are the most important (she's doing great there also). It's hard not to get overexcited though with your own kids. I'll probably be asking for a lot of advice in the future.
