The pivot point does move in space during the swing, but the movement of the barrel is still rotation centered in the hands.

And I don't agree with the term pivot as the hands do go forward at some time. The term pivot in my mind is in regards to the initial part of the swing!

I agree Eric.

As the elbow is slotted the hands will project forward. Semicircular..Not a push. Out from the body.

This is what I feel when I swing the bat!

Hands do lead the elbow unless i'm not putting your statement in proper context. You darn sure don't want the elbow leading the hands. Can you explain FFS?

There have been some fairly decent hitters that had their rear elbow lead the hands.
