I’m a fan of the best bats out there. By best I mean performance and durability.Yeah I know you have a fondness for the Sluggers lol. DD really likes her RXT. It took a while to get going but it does as well as her Ghost imo. But I think there may lie the problem....it's as good as a bat that's marginally cheaper and isn't as hot out of the wrapper. I will say though it is much more balanced than the Ghost so if she prefers that, that's a positive.
DD has had all three of the Ghosts, if the Advanced is as good as the blue one she'll probably want one. One of her teammates already has the GA, so we'll probably try it out. She's been pretty positive about it so far.
Sluggers have proven to me to be on par or better than all bats out there.
Rawlings are solid bats durable but not on par with Ghost’s & Sluggers especially out of the wrapper.
Never liked Demarini bats. Honestly I want to because they are designed & built in US just don’t like hollow feel & sound.
I’m glad to hear you and DD like the RXT. My guess is it will outlast the Ghost. Which means it will outperform the Ghost in the long run. (A broken bat can’t perform)
My hope is the 2020 Ghost is more durable than 18’s & 19’s. I like the Ghost bats don’t get me wrong but if it’s broken or only can be used in certain tournaments I can’t give it the coveted “best bat” title.
The best bat should be available for all tournaments and there when I choose to use it.
Sluggers have never let me down. I can’t say that about the Ghost. It’s like that expensive exotic car that spends more time in the shop than on the road.
