Friday Check in 8/7/15

Weekend off of softball before starting back up again on Monday to get ready for the fall season. Of course, this means that my time will be spent doing the things at home that I have been neglecting/postponing, including...

- Run AC duct to second bathroom, and install new vent. The attic crawlspace is dark and has spiders.
- Add 2x6 blocking between floor joists under a problem area of the kitchen floor. The basement crawlspace is dark and has spiders.
- Replace drain piping under kitchen sink. Pretty sure I saw a spider in there.

If I'm lucky, I might get a chance to take a nap while floating around my pool. Spiders don't swim, right?

Sorry, but we get HUGE spiders in our pool.

We do too big and creepy, and my pool may be responsible for the bee die off that is happening, I scoop at least 10 out every morning...

I see plenty of dead spiders and bees in my pool. Dead spiders are fine with me. Dead bees bum me out.

life ain't nothin but practice and tourneys
cause I'm the kind of TB dad built to last
if I eat the nachos i will pass some gas
see I don't really care if the car is dirty....
was practice at 5 or 5:30?

We have been at 16U PGF Nationals this week, but did not make it to Friday play, so we moved up our plane flight are are headed home this afternoon. High school practice started this week, so DD will not have a break.

LOL...I had this exact view (albeit spider was smaller and hairless) on my windshield right in my line of view (on the inside...with me) while driving into work yesterday. Not anything I could do about it except watch the road and pray that it didn't crawl down to where my feet were. Eeep!!
