Honestly, that might be for the best. So many of these youngsters don't seem to have a clue how much the inadvisable use of social media can come around to haunt them. In this case, three young women lost their scholarships and the entire team lost its chance for the World Series. That's a pretty bad result from some stupid tweets.

Exactly. Email, twitter, facebook, chats, etc. People wake up! Just because you are sitting alone in you livingroom, realize that everything you write is a world wide press conference. It's not just sports either, if you work for any business beyond a mom and pop, they are monitoring your facebook! Even if you are using it at home. Don't think so, go home tonight and complain about your company on social media.

The consequences of a society that rewards abhorrent behavior on national TV by paying big $$ for "train wreck" stuff that a lot of people can't seem to stop watching...hate to sound like "that old guy" but this is what you get with an "entitlement" society where many people - not just kids - think they are entitled to respect because they create carbon dioxide when they exhale.

This "person" you got your info from is totally wrong! There was nothing going on with anyone on TNF, there were NO racist comments made to any of the players on the team. All 3 players involved are very good friends with Michelle and still hang out with her. This whole situation happened because the coach let his players handle a situation instead of handling it himself.
