We used to yell "The games on your shoulder's!" at each other, during critical at bats.

Went on a cruise one time with 5 other coaches. We were in the casino at the craps table and one coach was about to roll the dice.

Man at table betting: "Come on buddy, my baby needs a new pair of shoes."
Coach: " Forget your baby, Sally needs a new pair of Mizuno Whatley 9 spike G2s." (I think it was)

All us SB people cracked up, should have seen all the funny looks he got while he rolled the dice.

Here is one of mine, when the girls are taking the field.. " You better run onto my field, you wanna walk, go to the mall!"

It only hurts till the pain goes away.

My DD's coach when she was 8 used to say that. Now the girls (who are now playing 14u) who she coached yell that out whenever one of them gets Hit by a pitch.

Along the same lines, my dad always says, "It'll feel better when it quits hurtin'!" I use that one quite often now.

I was at a Candrea clinic many moons ago. I think her name was Sue Parra. She was a riseballer. She used "get it high or watch it fly". That got a good laugh.
