Amy... they did tear easy and didn't last, but at $3 a pair no one cared.
And yes, when I was green and brand new, I thought I was getting "punk'd" when my Sgt said to wear them. It wasn't until we got to the site and set up that I realized that I was the only one in the squad with out any hose on. Hasn't anyone noticed the horrific foot smell that fogs the room when a woman takes off her shoes and hose after a day at work? Its because the hose somehow holds in all the heat. Back then the only option we had was bulky and itchy long johns. Nowadays we have options like under armour, but when in a pinch...go to the store for a $3 pair of hose.
