Most of what is from California is not what it seems.

Basically. Left side batter swings the bat low around her body then with left hand bat comes across plate to hit ball. Hard to describe. But if you miss technically the bat crosses home plate twice.

Not illegal unless she breaks some other rule. I saw it a few weeks ago for the first time in my life. The girl put it into play and then promptly ran into it (out of the box) so she was out for that violation.
