I once made a comment on how good this girl's swing was.

cbullard dismissed the comments. Now look at her swing.

Compare the first swing that was posted (not in this thread) from a previous post
to this. You have created a lot work for her. You've fixed things that didn't need fixing.

Sad to see.

Well I guess we can cry about it or you can offer some tips and drills that will fix the issues you see.

It's the tips and drills that made her swing worse.
By the way, who's crying?

The swing went from 'bad' to 'bad'.

Likely there were different shades of 'bad' mixed between.

This is what you will often see when sequence is ignored. A vicious circle akin to a dog chasing its tail ... the moving on to perceived improvements that detract from prior attempts to make improvements. The chasing of the tail will continue until the sequence issues are addressed.

Why, because I'm not blowing sunshine up his rear?

Not all advice should be rosy. Or should it? Don't hate the messenger.

Her earlier swing was much, much better.
I'm assuming he worked all the good that was in her swing out by correcting things that didn't need to be corrected.

You seem to disagree. You have your take and I have mine.

Let's leave the derogatory banter out of it.

The bottom line is:
the swing is much worse. Why? How does he fix it?
She's young and very impressionable. Only he knows what she's been taught.

If I were him, I'd address . . .

never mind. He's not listening.
But I'd agree with sequence being ignored.

You were getting all sad and down.

Ok you have identified a problem, you believe its 'the tips and drills'. Now all you have to do is offer a polite description of how you would improve the swing. Its called trying to be helpful.

Try again do over.

I've explained my stance already.

It is not uncommon to see a swing degrade when the hitter is out of sequence and inappropriately chases what they perceive to be their next enhancement.

Let's see this 'good swing' that you like from this hitter. You mention that it isn't in this thread. Where is it?
