My daughter has recently had trouble with her arm circle. As she starts her motion, the arm is flexed (bent), instead of a long loose circle. It seems she is trying to throw harder but is getting tighter and "muscling" the ball. It has caused a loss in velocity and wrecks the pitch. We have been doing drills (triple arm circles, using an xcelerator). Any ideas of how to fix this? She is 13 and has been pitching 4 years or so. She has had very good velocity in the past. When the fastball isn't working she can't throw her other pitches consistent.
