Ok so we finally had a chance to get inside and hit the 2020 Ghost Advanced & Rawlings Quatro Pro
We did quite a bit of tee work before live pitching. Trying to make sure the bats were well broken in before tournament this weekend.
#1 DD Loved the Ghost Advanced. She said it feels awesome in her hands and loved the sound. Ball came off the tee very well and was the same with live pitching. No issues with paint after two hours of hitting. The GA is definitely hot out of the wrapper.
#2 DD Swung the Quatro Pro. She is a Slugger girl so I knew I had my work cut-out for me. The bat was good off the tee. Live pitching she wasn’t impressed. She switched back to her 2019 LXT & Xeno for live pitching.
Rawlings bats have more of a break-in period than most bats out today. I think the more we use it the better it will get.
I had DD #1 try the QP for live pitching. It was a brief trial. She said she likes the bat but it’s a step back from the GA.
***DD #1 14 yr old A level strong player.
***DD # 2 14 yr old B level average player
