We are taking the girls to see the event in Ashland OH this Monday. What is the difference between the Elite team and the National team? I asked our ASA Commissioner and didn't really grasp his explanation.

I think the first post in this thread explains it. Twenty girls were invited to national team tryouts. Five of the girls were chosen for the national team, along with the 12 girls already on the national team. The other 15 girls then became the elite team. The national team is supposed to be the better of the two teams. The elite team is for exhibition purposes only.
