I like how as she's gotten more comfortable with her sequencing she's opened herself up to bigger movements creating real power. Kudos to her and her coach(es including you). That was also a very nice adjustment.
I also like how when she practices (as we've seen in other videos) she's focused now on results, ie, driving balls over the fence or hitting the foul pole lol....the body moves as it must to deliver BIG results like that, whether in practice or games. Congrats to Maddie. Wasn't long ago she contemplated walking away, right? I hope she is having fun and she takes the game where she wants it to go
Yes. Last fall, she had a rough time, and stepped away from the game for a few months. Her enjoyment of HS ball kept her from leaving the game completely, and the short HS season got her juices flowing again. She's backed off from being on a top PGF-competitive team (for now), and is just enjoying playing the game. The experience also changed her path for college. At this point, it looks unlikely that she wants to pursue a sports-focused D1 experience, but rather something that is more balanced with academics and other parts of life.
