Yes rear leg is turning forward as barrel accelerates rearward. Creates a rear leg axis.

I see a stride out. COM moves forward somewhat. Weight still back. COP still on back foot. At launch I see the weight shift, COP shift from the back against the front.
Yes the COM doesn't move forward very much. The weight is still back in the first clip, then at launch the weight shifts.
