Who is to say which information is 'good' and which information is 'bad'?

I support Lindsay's effort to make a video that might help a young player learn about hitting a softball. Is it perfect? No. But I don't see too many other girls her age making an effort on this front (being a model for an instructor should not count). Like all of us, she will learn from her experiences and the feedback that comes from that. I am very confident that if she had to make the video again, she would explain and demonstrate it in a superior fashion. Sure her form isn't "Mendoza-like" nor would be a model swing at an Epstein class, BUT there are a LOT worse swings than hers out there, and at the college level.

I hear what you're trying to say.

However, I refuse to show this video to my 9yo or 15yo DDs out of fear that they might absorb and adopt some of what's being presented. Just because there are worse swings out there doesn't make this swing "good", only "less bad".

While the young lady may have good intentions, intentions are not results. That is, good intentions are not a sufficient condition.
