Also 'sorta' because look at the front shoulder and see what you 'feel'. I didn't want to critic your DD because I appreciate you sharing and you didn't ask for a critic.

BTW, I like her hand position. Williams, Carew and Boggs had low hands. You could say that lower hands have a more direct path to the ball.

Monitor seems like a natural fit for her to emulate. A lot to like about Maddie's swing. Advanced for a 12u for sure........Now what's the difference?

She can rotate into foot plant better, let the swing drop the heel. She has both heels on the ground at the same time right now.

That's not the fix to me.

The barrel depth tells the story. Is it turned instantly? Or is it turned along side/out in front of her?

Where the weight is at launch would tie into this as well....

The weight is balanced at launch. She doesn't begin until foot plant. Hard for the barrel to turn if she isn't starting until after foot plant.

Agree ^^.

You can't achieve barrel depth if the weight isn't "back" at launch. Weight can still be "back" even at foot plant. But like you said, in this case it is not.....

Foot planted. Weight still back....The resistance created causes the lower to "begin" during the move out....

Of course it's a moot point if she is making an adjustment in her timing.

I think the back leg needs to be more in control . The coil must not be very strong, since she gets balanced before starting the swing.
