DD has the All-Star and loves it!
Tried a Vinci (not sure what ahe didn't like about that one) and a Worth Liberty (too heavy) but settled on the All-Star and has never regretted it.

Does she have a CMW3000 or 4000? I love my 3000, sounds like a shotgun going off!

I think she has the 4000 actually. (She is out working on blocking right now or I'd check).
You are so right - when a pitch comes in just right it has a sound second to none! Startles the batters sometimes! She LOVES it!

Thanks for al the responses. Decided to go with the Vinci JCV34 after a lot of research. Really hard to decide when you don't have them in front of you, so I hope she likes this one.

Back on the dirt...
My DD is 11 and I just had a custom Vinci made for her for under $240 buck and it's bad rear!! Broken in game ready under one month and I don't see it coming apart any time soon. Price includes her name and American flag embroidered. It's a 34 " model. Very very happy w it. I have not tried all the other gives mentioned but at this point, I doubt I will ever need to.

So Cal
That's a great pic 4 girl's dad, I like it! But I think she's got way too much throat/upper chest exposed, the right foul tip could be serious!

I agree with all of this ^^^. Tighten up that chest protector so it fits like a compression shirt, not an apron, and adjust it to close the gap at her neck.

Great looking mitt! :)

Just to add to this thread, I had a custom Rawlings HOH made up for my daughter in her future college colors, and the whole process was outstanding from start to finish. I spoke with the guys at their custom shop, and they gave me some pointers and suggestions before finalizing the order. We received the glove a couple of weeks ago and it exceeded my expectations. Absolutely gorgeous and solid as a rock. This glove will be replacing her JCV-VM and she couldn't be happier with it.

Agreed!! She has a better fitting chest protector but she won't wear it. :/ She started seeing a new catching coach this week and she talked to her about it. Hoping someone else in her ear will help change her mind on it.
