Hello everyone.
This week and next is when the various local teams are having their tryouts. It is common in this area to try out for several teams to ensure you find a home. My question is about the etiquette to handle this week.
If you receive an offer for a spot on a roster what is a reasonable amount of time to accept or decline. For instance if a manager says “please let us know soon”. What is considered appropriate. The trouble is that we’d like to try out for a few before making a decision. There are many considerations to weigh. But in doing that I certainly don’t want to offend anyone or make their lives harder.
Also while I do have a few questions to ask about the teams philosophy on various topics is it appropriste to ask how the numbers are looking as far as even being able to form a team?
Thanks very much. I get that this may be a sensitive topic but if anyone that is more experienced could chime in we’d greatly appreciate it.
