Does anyone have any experience with the All-Navy Softball teams? My daughter is shipping out next week for Basic Training and she'll be in schooling for awhile after that but it looks like they can apply for it at the start of next summer. Just curious how competitive it is - it'd be cool if she could continue to play softball some. On her current SB team she has a AC that was in the Navy and was telling her she should try out for it (though I'm not sure there are try outs).
Not really sure how they decide who gets a spot. I do know they need to get their commanding officer's approval to apply.
To be honest I had no idea this even existed but I guess they have teams for all types of sports.
