Wouldn't believe it, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes

I'm not sure how I missed this entire post, but glad I found it. I don't feel much like working today and it helped me kill the first 30 mins of my day since the Friday Check-In is no longer being posted.

Thank you for this. However, I have a very thick skin so it really doesn't bother me. Growing up, DD was in the top 99% growth percentile according to her pediatrician. Can you imagine having a 4 YO (48 months and 48"tall at the time of the Dr.s visit) that's 48 pounds? That's always the way she was until probably 15YO. Then she slowed down a bit.

Depending upon the age group of rec ball, can you imagine how many times I was asked for her birth certificate at All-Stars tournamnets?! I distinctly remember a parent shouting in the stands! "Really, she"s 12?! She probably drove herself to the tournament!" From the 3rd base coaching position, I calmly looked at him and said, "Actually, she's only 11." And had the birth certificate to prove it.

Yes & yes :)

On Facebook find Impact-Fisher. The y are a Ga Impact team and posted a video yesterday of their 2023 UF commit hitting one at least 300'.

People are so obnoxious. I can’t believe the things people think it’s ok to yell out.

That drives me crazy some of the nasty things people yell to kids, especially the younger ones. I work at a high school and go to a lot of events and it is ridiculous what some people think is ok to shout from the stands. Many years ago, my freshman year, I was a point guard on JV, even though I was one of the bigger/thicker/fatter kids. Varsity got first pick of uniforms and they got all of the size shorts I needed, so I had to go buy my own, so mine looked different than everyone else. We played an away game and the other teams fans taunted me and called me names and said things to me that I couldn't believe. I hung 32 points on them but it still hurt and was shocked that they would do that.

This ball hit by Abby Cheek is the longest fastpitch homerun I've ever seen. The fence on the backside of the berm in left field at Mizzou is 290'.

Thank you for the being the first poster to post fairly clear evidence, looks to be about 300 feet even on google maps if I'm looking at the right place, a definite bomb.
