    Utrip age cutoff

    I should correct myself, in Illinois all fall tournaments are for age going into. If you just finished playing 14U for 2017, then for the fall of 2017, you are suppose to play 16U if your team is moving up for 2018. Pretty sure most states follow the same protocol, as does most of the other ABC's

    It's the age they are Dec. 31. So if they turned 19 Jan 1 they are considered 18U. Season runs Sept 1 to Sept 1

    Pitching Machines

    I use them as a change for my players, as they get bored with all the tee work, front toss, ect drills. We set the machine a little faster than game speed, and its the last station they do after hitting practice

    Yes I am an official AC, and was introduced as Coach (first name). Our high-school's do not allow parents helping. I had to take all the testing, back ground checks ect. to be on staff

    In Illinois if your playing class A in any other org. you get moved to A Granted teams fall thru the cracks but I do not think the number that do is very large We have a pretty even amount of Open, A and B Tournaments. Class C has about 4-6 If we feel a team should move down, we contact them...

    Shaved Bats - How big is the market?

    not 100% here, but was told form higher ups in Utrip, that was one of the reasons they changed their logo. any bat with the new log, that is rolled, will get a crinkle finish to it. also the end caps cannot be removed, and put back. Dont know what happens if its shaved

    I have been told by a few D1 schools that yes they share info. Especially if they are loaded at one position and short at another.
