    How do you use DP Flex on your team?

    It's been used effectively where you have a struggling hitter/good fielder and a good hitter/weak fielder combination. For example, a good pitcher who struggles at the plate can be flexed with a weak fielding DP that bats for her.

    That's enough reason right there to leave. If your kid isn't happy and you're in a position to find another team, go for it. Why subject her to that if there's no real benefit other than being yelled at? Hysterical. Makes sense now. Classy.

    Indeed. Slamming someone's credentials doesn't help your case. Coaches do what they feel is best for the team, not for the parents. If you feel that strongly that somebody shouldn't be coaching, then do something about it.

    If the runner rounding 3rd base came around and scored on that play, the coach would be praised for a savvy and gutsy call. Instead, he's chastised for his decision. Such is the life of a softball coach. Who knows what the reasoning was behind the calls? Maybe it was to catch the other team...
