Haters gonna hate.
There are a number of sports announcers who never played MLB- but are exceptionally knowledgeable about the game and offer insight that is interesting and accessible to the average (or in my case below-average) BB fan. I have not heard JM baseball commentary- so can't speak to her BB knowledge...- MandM

How do you link Admissions to Softball Coach?
My DD is verballed to a high academic D3 school in the northeast. I agree with InsidePitch- my sense from my DD having looked at several of these schools and attended camps- is that they have two concerns- the first and foremost one is- can this student even be admitted to my school- i.e. do...- MandM

DD has injured her drag foot again.
I think after watching- it is important to know if it is plantar flexion that caused the problem (google image plantar flexion injury and you can see how it could have happened) or eversion (check those pictures too)- My guess after watching is that it is the latter.- MandM

I don't think it is very nice or appropriate to put up a video like this of someone else's child. Help is given when it is asked for here- you don't need to troll the internet for someone else's DD to criticize. I think you did a really nice job- but it could be simplified- Maybe put skills video right there on the face page so they can open it without having to take the step of clicking another link- also on the face page- I'd have some key info like POP time, overhand throw speed and one or two key...- MandM

Do D3 Coaches recruit at tournaments the same way at D1 or D2 schools?
DD has verbally committed to play at a D3 school that is highly competitive academically and also- was her #1 choice. She went to a summer camp at that school between sophomore and junior year- which was her first contact with coach- which she maintained over her junior year. Comments from...- MandM

Not a podiatrist or orthopedist but checked to find that there are different types of navicular avulsion fractures- I copied and pasted information here- each of these is caused by a different specific motion of the foot- and while I totally agree with Java that this could be indicative of...- MandM

I also think there is a big difference between "weak" 12U rec and 16UA TB team- at least I hope so. I think there would be challenges for a good 12UA TB player (unless she was physically very mature) to go to 16UA- where girls are bigger, stronger, and pitching is light years better. Looking for GOOD drop ball video
Were these drop balls that broke (in practice) or didn't break (in game)? one thing is for sure though- in the game, she sure is bringing it! Sounds like you have tried many of the things others have suggested and I think sluggers post and following through with consequences are good strategies. College softball with a medical major?
DD had one coach who remarked that taking certain majors would make things difficult but not exclusive- however this was for engineering. I agree with fastpitch, but it does depend on the school. With regard to the Northeast, many good D3 schools (academic and athletically-speaking) are recruiting rising senior pitchers over the course of this summer. Several of the highly selective D3 schools though have largely completed...- MandM
