Who's mistake is this? Bad throw from 1st? Bad fielding by C? Both?

Catcher, ball hit her glove she could have caught it, might not have made the tag but it was catchable.

Throw could have been better, catch could have been made with better set-up and focus, and the tag might still have been late. Looks like softball to me.

Agree with the above. Nobodies fault. Maybe we should add in the pitcher for allowing the hit. Thats softball. First needs to make a better throw. Would have been nice to be bailed out by the catcher making a great play but overall just a play that didn't happen

Perhaps as said previously lackluster effort on the field.
However even at that,
Throw wasnt that bad.
Catcher gets the error.

Catcher should Set up facing where throw is comming from 1st base.
Not sideways facing 3rd.
Thats why it seemed throw was off target.
Face the throw to receive the ball and move feet to the play!

*MUCH BETTER defensive position facing the throw.
Especially on an errant throw, Can move all directions easier.

Catcher was way out of position for a player at the plate. The grab for the ball hurt her also. She didn't have a chance even if she caught it cleanly

Well perspective is part of sports.
Decide wether catching the ball and dropping it is an error.

I dont look at the video and guess how long players have played or how they have been coached. Simply,...
