There's nothing wrong with a little scepticism when it comes to any type of athletic instruction. My daughter took pitching lessons from a 3-time All American who pitched in the Olympics and the NPF for 4 years. She taught HE. That was years ago and I hope that she has changed what she teaches now. She is still involved in softball, at the D-1 level.

I think you missed my point. I’m fine with skepticism. What I was trying to say is that in this forum we would should be evaluating the quality of a coaches instruction rather than making what some may consider inappropriate comments about someone’s selfies.

That's true, but you also listed her career strikeouts, which, as I pointed out , have nothing to do with the quality of her instruction. In an earlier post I said that the pitchers in the videos looked good.

Just a random fact. And it has just as much to do with her instruction as her selfies do. Wasn’t implying her strikeouts equated to good instruction. If you have read the last 2 pages nobody is talking about her instruction.

So why post the selfies? Everyone knows the answer. If hillhouse could post selfies and get more business we'd have more hillhouse than we could handle. Both sides should knock it off and stick to teaching pitching which they are pretty good at. Unprofessionalism begets unprofessionalism. IMO.

There is no instruction on the website or in any of the videos so it's difficult to talk about something when you have no information. The website and the videos are all promotional, which is fine, if you're in the business you have to get your product out there and making a profit is the bottom line. However, keep in mind that the contributors on this website are not being paid, we donate our time and expertise (good or bad) because we love the game and girls who play it.

Flogzilla, I have no idea about her coaching, how would I? Should I sign up for a lesson and report back? And since this is as close as I'll probably ever come to the #metoo and cancel culture, let me say this, I complimented the selfies. She didn't put pictures of herself on there so people would comment on her shoes, did she? No. OMG, the snowflakes who get their feelings hurt are just taking over the world. So, someone with the good looks of a model posts pictures of herself all over the place and it's rude to compliment them. Got it. Humor and levity are to be stamped out at every turn because you got offended that I advocated for more selfies.

This has nothing to do with #metoo, I guess she is asking for your lewd comments just because she posted a selfie. I hope you are not coaching young girls if that is the case.
