If her glove is floppy, have it relaced. The laces give a glove a skeletal structure. Gloves come to me all the time as floppy pancakes and people are shocked to see what a proper relacing does for the glove. Also, palm adhesive will keep the glove regain its form. Palm adhesive is a substance placed between the two layers of leather in the palm of the glove. Its a glue like substance with some give in it, so its not a permanent bond but can make the two layers of leather give each other structure.

Even if.you were to buy a new glove, a proper relace of her current glove is something Id recommended so she will have a back up or can have something shes comfortable with while she breaks in her old glove.

Here are a couple photos of gloves I relaced yesterday, went from floppy pancakes to shaped like new.
SG- How much do you get for a relace job?

Her other position is 1st base and she has a 13in first baseman glove. This would be for pitching. The one she is currently using for pitching is a cheap one I bought years ago for adult softball so it really is time for a new one anyway- not just a relace. Is it okay to do a 13in pitchers glove so the size is same no matter what position shes in? She is 11, but the size of an avg 13 year old (and growing quickly).
13” is too big for average 12U. Honestly I can’t understand people using anything less than 12.5” for 12” softball. Baseball sure but not softball.
A nice 12.5 would work nicely. You can find a nice Rawlings Liberty Advanced for around $100 If your ok with previous years models which you should be.
Wilson A1000 is also a solid glove for around $100.
Many nice gloves out there now with BIG discounts. Try a bunch on at local retailer and see which one tickles your DD’s fancy.
Does she prefer open back, closed back, Velcro closure? Lots of choices and quality levels.

Vinci hasn't gotten enough love lately...so talk to Drakemir (member here on DFP) for pricing on a 1929-BV. DD used it in the circle for years and it is a great all around utility glove as well. If you look at the All Star gloves compare pricing of whatever Vela model you look at to the System Seven FGS7-PT DD is loving it.
And just to add the Marucci Magnolia Catchers Mitt my other DD just got is nice so I'd believe that their fielding/pitchers model are equally nice.

Is he still around? The last 2 or 3 newer members here who have messaged me about a particular model and I recommended him, they say he never gets back to them?
Not sure, I was just trying to help out a DFP member. He may have moved on..... Casedawg was the other Vinci Rep on here who had helped me out in the past. Could have taken too much heat from some guys on here about the quality of their laces. j/k

BTW - we still have 3 Vinci's laying around. A black 1929-BV Limited, an Optimus 1929-BV Hybrid (H-web) and a JCV-VM Catchers Mitt. Recently had the 1929-BV Limited and the Catchers Mitt relaced (by Jeff Rous - did a fantastic job). The Optimus was an upgrade that Drakemir offered and this glove is still getting a lot of active use.
