I never really could see what they called her on. My guess would be her drive foot?

On a secondary note: Does anyone else think this young lady burns a ton of excessive energy on her wind up with her near full squat every pitch? Mind you, I fully understand when you pitch like her, you don't fix what isn't broken.

She was called because toe of her back foot was not all the way touching the plate at start. This happens every once in a while, and it doesn't bother her. Sometimes when you look down it looks like you are touching but may be a tiny gap. Ticky tack but still the rule. I have seen it called a few times this year at different games. You just have to pay attention to it.

My guess is she had the tip of her stride foot against the rubber when she was on point with it, then lost contact when she rocked back.

Full disclosure- I know her pretty well! She has been blessed with an athletic body and great desire. But she has also been the beneficiary of some incredibly knowledgeable and giving instructors- Rick and Sarah Pauly, Denny Tincher, Austin Murray, Rich Balswick, and now Coach Torina! They have all been so patient and kind to help her. I would not recommend this pre motion for younger pitchers as it takes good body control and fitness, and a decent grasp of the basic fundamentals. This was arrived at through trial and error, and is due to a desire to maintain strong leg drive while eliminating backswing. I believe it is a work in progress, but she seems to getting comfortable with it.
