Would love to hear the mental cues associated with this action.....
Not just the top hand getting through turning the barrel but also what is the mental thought associated with the action of the bottom hand clapping the top hand after the barrel is turned or possibly at contact????

OK, how many of you remember them as the University of Slow Learners (USL) before the name change to Uh La La (ULL)? Non technical post in a technical thread. Shame on me !

Whether you like him or not. It seems to be working.

I think this is a great question.

To me this action represents "turning the barrel"
Keeping the top hand short, results in the barrel turn, so maybe an exclamation on continuing thru contact, to finish the barrel whip?

Ok, now I must go back at study the finish.

I hope it does? Hint, don't be fooled by the angle of the front hip. Please look at the sign line. Follow the 'scrunch' up from the front hip, to the down front shoulder. Now look at the rear side. I see no 'scrunching'. If that isn't 'down and in'.....too you...it's no big deal.
I agree it isn't as easy to see as Cabrera. I hope that helps?
Hey, you 'tricky'...

Cabrera on the left (which you posted the still shot from) is swinging at a low pitched ball. Ragin Cajun hitter is swinging at a much higher pitch.

So, she wouldn't be as 'down and in'.
