"Get that downward plain, down through the baseball...don't try and lift it over..."

I Say "go down and get it". A parent will yell "don't golf" or "stop golfing" And I yell back

"Yes golf" what else can you do on the drop, or low low strike?

Please, feel free to go down and get it, or, like the guy yelling "don't golf" follows with, "swing level", and see how that pans out.

I have a traffic cone, that I set a ball on for that guy.

Watch Chippers hand direction while he loads the barrel! :)

That is what I am looking at. I do not see the type of sharp descending blow described by Chipper. What I see is an effort early at initiation (loading the barrel?) to get the barrel behind the ball and maintain that line with a slight upward path. Thoughts

(I know this is about the front leg but we do have 17 pages already)

Scap-rear hip/"SCIP" axis and spatially early force application to turn barrel.

emphasis needs to be on rear side pullbacks, front side action reactive

rear hip socket rag wring, overlap, low back, pull

Watch and try to feel both core actions. 2 different patterns... two legs supporting while one is a rear leg spinner.

I love when they tell you the rear hip turns the front hip over... :D Really? And their rationale is the make-believe boogey man - BLEED! They say that using both hips causes a bleed of the rear hip. Poor Chipper.

this clipper clip shows no "held ER" or Snead squat.

rear upper leg turns ahead of hip, remaining in IR giving a pulling hip that is still bottom of top and maintaining corner
