Conversely, I would like to see a push style pitcher that finishes palm down or across the body. That is the one I haven't seen (and I doubt if they exist).

That is more or less how DD pitches. She pushs the ball down the circle and her hand ends up across her body when she finishes.

Has anyone considered that some elite pitchers use some push the ball down the circle and hello elbow finish to throw an off speed pitch to compliment their faster pitches?

Having taken my DD to work with Anna Miller a few weeks ago, I can attest that she does not teach the bowling motion (HE). We had a great time with her and although I don't agree with everything she taught

It would be enlightening for us to know what she taught that you didn't agree with Ken........

-prior to her work with Rick Pauly.

It would also be enlightening for us to hear what (if anything) Rick changed........

It's also possible to whip with palm down/forward into a HE finish.

Hmmmmmm........I guess it all depends on your definition of whip........In my definition, a whip ONLY occurs when something is pulled into/around a corner, vs. pushed into/around a corner.........

My definition may not be accurate.......But this is what I feel is the difference is between a push and a pull..........

One starts in front of the energy source........One starts BEHIND the energy source.......Utilizing the transfer of kinetic energy into/around the corner.........
