I like (HI's and Tewks) lower half stuff, still struggling with duplicating what I think they are saying in regard to the pinched scap. I do like like the "pulling back" with the top hand.

Are crankermo and knights daughters getting better - crankermo's being downright good? Have they mentioned stretch and fire?

I am not a member of HI, but I have an open mind and am willing to go in the backyard and try it out. I have read his material that is public as well as Tewk's. Maybe what they are saying is nothing earth shattering - but it is certainly different than what I learned growing up and I have found it to be helpful to me. The jury is still out on whether I can download it into my to daughter or our team.

I have no agenda hidden or otherwise. I haven't ripped on anyone that says stuff that doesn't work for me, but I will not hesitate to recommend things that have proven beneficial if it will accelerate some other dad's learning process.

My honest assessment is that there are many posters that simply think "it is my way or the highway" and when new ideas are proffered they simply say that is some stupid s**t and never get off their posterior and try to duplicate

On my iPad so this is what i can do right now. My mom saw this picture and asked if we ever tried to look like Pujols. Never at any point did we say, "try to look like this guy." We tried to develop a process, we tried to develop a pattern, we tried to create the best swing characteristics and the best opportunity to be successful.

The picture is 3 frames from contact. Far left is from October 2010. Middle is a couple weeks ago. Chris is in big league camp with the Twins right now. Playing for Italy in the WBC next month.

When you see a hitter's swing naturally produce a flush line drive through the middle, when the swing creates a routine result that isn't forced, yet is completely under control, it is crazy. Bat speed isn't forced. Being sudden isn't something you force.

Lastly, for the record, choosing to leave a website and not providing video after leaving said website was a choice. A choice to move on. If I wanted that person's opinion, I would have sought it by now.

Twins? Chris Colabello: the happiest man in baseball
