so, they are taking batting practice and the coach blurts out "hit a blooper over 2B. Really??

I would guess the coach saw the RH player dead pulling every pitch and wanted the player to do what pujols does and hit a loud line drive over the 2nd basemans head. That makes sense to me.

Trying to pooch or squib one oppo or foul one off seems like a very bad tactic. IMO
