A teammate of DD has emulated barnhills replant. So much so I believe it is taught by the instructor, particularly after conversing with her dad. Her velocity has gone up since fall (where it was not so pronounced). How much additional force or energy do pitchers who replant gain by this tactic? (assuming this is only variable that is changed) Does this replant add more to the pitch than adducting the drive foot to the centerline? And is this why it is an illegal move? Or is it about driving the delivery closer to the batter?
