Two Strike Bunting

I know a TB/HS coach who bunts in any situation and I have seen multiple times where the 2 strike bunt has failed. However, even at 1 for 10, this coach would be bragging about how he caught the other team off guard on that one successful bunt. I would shake my head at some of the stuff this coach said/says.

During the spring we have the traditional tournament teams and an in-house recreational league. In the fall there are tournament teams but not enough recreation girls to keep several cities programs going so we combine and have a recreational league with teams represented from each LL program.

Wait...what??? How does that work?

In our area, there is league/rec ball, and there is travel ball. They are not connected with each other.

We used to play other leagues during fall ball as team counts were down so you had to travel. Not TB, but did travel.

The best reason to bunt with 2 strikes is there is always some loud parent on the other side who will just start screaming that you can't bunt with 2 strikes.
