Oh, I see what you are saying now. :) Yes 'let' was not the right word exactly. I will get my 2nd cup of coffee now.

'HS coaches, aren’t usually talking about it “on TV” hence my assumption..' HS coaches get interviewed all the time on local sports TV.
When I was in college one of my baseball teammates saw me play an intramural basketball game and afterwards told me I should try out for the basketball team. My manager was right next to him and told him “He has a hard enough time playing baseball..”..That’s “not let..” 😂

Mine is a 3 sport athlete and let’s just say summer isn’t summer. Up at 6am 4 days a week for soccer and basketball workouts. Hitting lessons one night a week. League games for bball and soccer. Flying out nearly every weds for tournaments and flying back on Sunday night just to do it all again. Somewhere in there she sees her friends and her boyfriend. I don’t make her work but she has chores and family responsibilities. It’s a lot.
